libpam-mklocaluser software package provides Configure PAM to create a local user if it do not exist already, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpam-mklocaluser
libpam-mklocaluser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpam-mklocaluser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpam-mklocaluser *
You will get with libpam-mklocaluser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
